Japanese style hostel. Clean facilities, comfy futons. Check-in at adjacent hostel, a short walk away. Closed restaurant during our visit. Reception spoke English well and had good service mind. Full facilities and clean rooms.

Family-friendly hotel, HELPFUL staff. Truly enjoyed staying at the japanese-style room. You should definitely explore Takayama City district, it's worth it. Can recommend it, reasonable price.

Lots of restaurants to eat close by, like Takamine that was only 5 minutes' walk away. Shared bathroom is clean. We recommend this hotel.

Location was excellent, situated in the atmospheric old part of town. the hostel was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. the shared showers were well-lit and supplied with lotion. the option for free and secure luggage storage at the nearby hostel was convenient. I also appreciated the tatami common room and the availability of a restaurant on the premises.

The property was basic and lacked certain amenities like mirrors in the room and a full-height mirror in the shared bathrooms. the noise from the street and the restaurant downstairs could be bothersome, especially in the morning and at night.
